Your Initial Visit
Your first visit to our office will include taking an X-ray. These allow us to view the jaw structure, the position of teeth (erupted or not), malformed roots, and tooth decay. We do this to add to your medical and dental history.
We will also go over your medical history before meeting. When you share your medical history with us, provide only complete and up-to-date information. Additionally, inform our office if you have experienced recent hospitalization or surgery or have recently been ill.
Also, tell us the names, doses, and frequency of any medications you may be taking. Whether prescription or over-the-counter products, as they could affect treatment. Inform us of any changes in your health or medications. This information will help us choose the safest and most effective treatment plan for you.
Regular Checkups
We encourage regular checkups for individuals who are at least four years of age. Be mindful to never skip or postpone an appointment for too long, as they are crucial for monitoring your health. Regular checkups are important to:

- Find and correct early signs of decay
- Early treatment of oral health problems before their unmanageable
These aren’t time-consuming, as patients are in and out within an hour. However, you will need a visit, we treat walk-ins for emergencies only. Here’s a list of what to expect during a checkup:
